AUNDHA FORT
|
As you must you have heard that this fort is very difficult to Trek and you need to have ropes to climb up and many more. Well its the half Truth you know. The first thing you should know is that the fort is only difficult to those who don't do much Trek or for those who are just lazy to climb.
Yeah it takes lot of effort because of its steep climb and piles of rocks and the Iron chain rope (the most fun part during climb). But other than this there is no other reason for worry. We had some inexperience trekkers with us but then also they made it without arguing a bit. They just had fun doing the Trek. And most importantly you can climb up without using ropes from the regular way on the Fort. There is no need to bring the ropes but if you need you can.
Well For the main part, How to Reach Aundha Fort?
Aundha Fort is Situated at Aundhewadi Village. So to visit the fort You must have to reach Aundhewadi Village. To come to village there are two ways -
- The Easiest & the most preferred way to reach Aundha Fort is from Konambe Village in Sinnar which is Suited for both Four Wheels and Two wheelers. Most of the people Travel via this way cause it's Safer than the second option and also because you could also bring 4 wheels from this way. If you are travelling from Mumbai side this way is more suitable for you.
- From Aguskhind Village in Bhagur which is only suited for Thrill loving enthusiast bikers. (Note that the this way has a steep and rock climbing way to take your bike. if you have a good control on your bike only then you should go through this way.) This way might look like short way if you are travelling form Nashik but it takes a lot of effort to travel by this road. and this way is only accesible for 2 wheeler only.
So if you want to travel safe and travel by a car then choice the 1st option of travelling, other way is your choice to make.
!!!Have a Safe Tekking!!!
